Background

Hello! I’m Jessee Dietch, PhD, DBSM and I am an assistant professor in the School of Psychological Science at Oregon State University. I’m a licensed clinical health psychologist, certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine, and my primary clinical and research interests are in sleep disorders (insomnia, nightmares, circadian rhythm disorders).

I direct the Sleep Health Assessment, Intervention, and Dissemination (SHAID) lab (www.shaidlab.com), where we:

  1. develop, test, and disseminate sleep psychology interventions for sleep problems like insomnia and shift work disorder
  2. characterize sleep health in special populations
  3. evaluate and validate assessments of sleep and sleep disorders
